Putin: Getting rid of poverty is future president’s main task
MOSCOW, Jun 15 (PRIME) -- The next president will have to ensure higher wages, solve problems of poverty and dilapidating housing and provide serious management quality improvements among major tasks, President Vladimir Putin said during a direct Q&A session on Thursday.
“We have numerous tasks. The first and the most important objective is to provide growth in people’s salaries. We need to get rid of poverty, we need to get rid of temporary and dilapidating housing. This is only possible with the help of proper development of our economy,” he said.
Putin added that a switch to a new technological stage is necessary to achieve the goals.
“We need digital economy here, we need proper work organization here, we need to adjust administrative forms here, both at the municipal and national levels. We need serous changes in management quality here,” the president said.
